Gil Travel is pleased to welcome back Mia Lehmann to the Gil family! Mia worked with us previously from 1997 to 2000 and since leaving Gil she has gained substantial experience in a variety of travel related endeavors. Mia moved to America from Sweden in 1995 and is a graduate of Johnson and Wales, with a degree in Travel-Tourism and Management, having attended in both Sweden as well as Providence, RI. Her experience with groups and product development to Israel, South America, Europe and South Africa is exactly what is needed to effectively coordinate a seamless group experience.
Mia is fluent in 5 languages and her passion, energy, creativity and desire for excellence are a welcome addition to Gil Travel.
Apart from her beloved homeland, Mia has so many favorite destinations, as she tends to find something lovely in each location she visits. Quebec City, Paris, Vienna, Greece, Provence, Jerusalem, and Norway top her list amongst many others! Mia loves both cities and the countryside, as beauty can be found everywhere. She would love to go to Italy next, to absorb and enjoy the scenery, history, art, fashion, wine, food, and people. Italians, she feels, seem to have mastered the art of living!
Mia’s time as a mother of two girls, wife, and a full time employee requires a lot of attention to detail so she can handle home-life and work-life more efficiently. Every minute counts. Her old Volvo station wagon zips between Media and Aston Ice Works, where her oldest daughter spends hours and hours on ice, and where she and her youngest daughter take group lessons. She loves techno music, as it makes her want to dance. Also, she is passionate about real estate and home staging. Needless to say, HGTV is her favorite TV channel.
Mia is a part of the Gil Travel team because she believes in the wonderful product, and loves her fabulous colleagues and kind clients.
