AN ISRAELI ROBOT THAT CAN SAVE THE WORLD!

Israeli team takes part in DARPA Robotics Challange to build a robot capable of rescuing people in disaster zones. IMAGINE!!! It is a fact that when disastor hits, ISRAELI aid missions are the first to respond but even the world’s best search-and-rescue teams can’t always access a battered site such as the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear catastrophe, Deepwater Horizon oil spill or Chilean Copiapo mine.

 

That’s why the American Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) set up a ROBOTICS CHALLANGE for engineers and industry specialists to build substitutes for human rescuers in difficult and dangerous disaster zones. The Prize Pot is $2 M!!
